Our Facility
Our facility offers the following amenities:
- Grand prix derby grass ring complete with natural obstacles such as a Devil's Dyke, tabletop and derby bank
- Outdoor sand ring with GGT footing
- Heated indoor ring with GGT footing
- 3 heated barns with automatic water stalls
- Tack lockers and communal tack rooms
- Groom stalls
- Individual private turnout paddocks
- Hot/cold water wash racks
- Hot walker
- A variety of interesting, quality jumps
- Regularly maintained footing through harrowing and irrigation
We pride ourselves on our horse care and horsemanship. Our stalls are bedded with straw for ultimate comfort and horses receive hay feedings three times a day. Basic grain is included with indoor board and is fed once a day. Horses are stalled overnight and are turned out during the day with frequent staff monitoring. Turnout hours are appropriately dependent on weather and air conditions day to day. We provide all handling for farrier and vet services done during staff hours and we take care of all blanketing needs for your peace of mind.
St. George's Stables is located just 4 minutes from Spruce Meadows and conveniently neighbours horse show venue Rocky Mountain Show Jumping. One of the benefits of sharing the fence with RMSJ includes riding our horses over to compete during competitions.
